Timut pepper is the fruit of a small bush in Nepal whose berries are harvested for drying. Timut papar is actually a berry. After drying, only the berry sheath (pericarp) is consumed. Timut pepper has notes of grapefruit. It is slightly spicy and gives a very pleasant crackle on the tongue.

Tips for use: Timut pepper is widely used in Asian cuisine. It is ideal with fish, shellfish and scallops. It will allow you to season beef, chicken and vegetable dishes.
